trends in graphs
Introduction-
For the trends and graphs project we were required to create graphs about the ionization energy and the atomic radius. We did this to display the periodicity in the periodic table of elements. To create our graphs we used the first three periods of elements and a few from the fourth graphed their ionization energy and atomic radius's explained why the trends occurred and then compared the trends to each other.
Skills-
Justification-
I used the skills listed above while doing the trends in graphs project. I have also learned how to recognize trends in graphs and the importance of the periodic table. By completing this project my chemistry knowledge has been expanded and will help me in the future.

Skills-
- Interpret the group trends
- Compare/contrast the trends and note relations
- define ionization energy
- explain the variation in ionization energies
- discovered how atomic radius is calculated
- interpret the periodic table
- graph the specific trends to show patterns

I used the skills listed above while doing the trends in graphs project. I have also learned how to recognize trends in graphs and the importance of the periodic table. By completing this project my chemistry knowledge has been expanded and will help me in the future.
