NAtional robotics COMPETITION sumo heavyweight
Introduction-
I was a senior leader on the Sumo heavy weight team. Each ear MTA has multiple teams go to Marion Ohio to compete at the national robotics challenge. This year as a senior at MTA I was in charge of build and secondary design. I also helped the junior team by finding parts for their robot and answering their questions about design and assembly.
Justification-
Our team was the first team from MTA to make playoffs and we were awarded a silver award for taking second place overall. I learned a lot about engineering projects and also used a lot of my skills such as measurement when doing CAD and build. As well communication and Microsoft office skills when documenting the whole PDSA process we used.
Evidence-
Below is an example of the final CAD drawing i made and two pictures of the final assembled robot.
