piece-wise function
Introduction-
Every year in Honors Trigonometry/Pre-calculus class the students are assigned a group and are asked to sketch a detailed graph of the system including things such as its domain, range, minimums, maximums, etc. I had to use obtained mathematical knowledge and teamwork skills to complete this project.
Analysis-
Justification-
I included this project in my portfolio because I feel that this project gave me a better understanding of how to complete piecewise functions. I never really understand how all the graphs went together. With the help of my group I was able to better my understanding of the concept. I gained a lot from this project academically due to my teammates.

Analysis-
- Identify and describe discontinuities of a function (greatest integer and Piece-wise functions)and how they relater to the graph
- Use a graph to determine where a function is increasing or decreasing or constant
- Use a graph to locate local minimums and maximums
- Graph piece-wise defined functions
- Build and analyze Functions
